Clipper Course

Golf in Shipyard, Hilton Head Island, SC

Shipyard

The Clipper Course is the most technical of Shipyard Golf Club's three 9-hole layouts, defined by water hazards and tighter, more demanding approaches. It rewards careful course management and precise iron play. Combined with the Galleon or Brigantine for 18-hole rounds, the Clipper adds a more challenging element to a Shipyard golf day. Course highlights include: Most technical of Shipyard's three 9-hole courses; Water hazards on multiple holes; Tighter approaches demand precise iron play; Part of Shipyard's three-nine rotation; Open to outside visitors. Visitor tip: The Clipper is the most demanding of the three Shipyard nines — pair it with the Galleon for a well-rounded 18-hole challenge. Par 36, 3,000 yards (9 holes). Designed by Shipyard Golf Club. Resort — open to visitors.
